About the Artist
Capturing the soul, celebrating the spirit, and painting a little happiness into the world.
I’m Sherri Wolff, an equine artist with a lifelong love for animals, and a special place in my heart for donkeys. Originally from Upstate New York, I’ve been painting for over 20 years, turning my love of animals into colorful, expressive works of art, that celebrate their beauty, spirit, and individuality.
For me, painting is about so much more than capturing what an animal looks like. It’s about capturing who they are — their soul, their personality, and those little expressions and quirks that make each one so wonderfully unique. Whether it’s the soulful eyes of a horse, or the irresistible charm of a donkey, I want my paintings to make people smile, feel something, and connect with the animal on the canvas.
My style is loose, expressive, and full of color, with playful brushstrokes and a whimsical touch. I’m drawn to the joy, humor, and quiet beauty of the animal world, and I love creating paintings that radiate happiness and bring a little light into someone’s home.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Beyond painting them, I have a deep love for animal rescue, and a special appreciation for the remarkable personalities and stories of the animals we share our world with. They inspire me every day, both as an artist and as a person.
For over twenty-five years, I have called Wellington, FL home. The equestrian lifestyle keeps me close to the horses and the animal community that inspires so much of my work.
My hope is that when someone brings one of my paintings into their home, they bring home more than a piece of art. They bring home a feeling — a little joy, a little whimsy, and a reminder of the special bond we share with animals.
